These coverage maps were made with Radio Mobile software.
The covarge maps below assume the following setup: 2 meters: 50 watt radio with a quarter, half or five eigths wave antenna mounted on the vehile in such a way as to not introduce major losses or severely distort the antenna radiation pattern; 440: 10 watts and a half wave or better antenna favorably mounted on the vehicle. The plots are based on "near full quieting" signal, allowing for some flutter or "picket fencing". Actual usable coverage will vary based on antenna and how much noise can be tolerated on the signal.
